Andrew Bernard has joined the BIT Help Desk Team as a
Computer Support Associate.
Andrew is a native South Dakotan, born in Yankton and raised
in Jefferson. Although Andrew has recently moved to Pierre, Pierre is not an
unfamiliar area for him. In 2013 he had an internship with Chris Marsh over the
summer, which enabled him to not only become more familiar with Pierre, but
with BIT as well.
Andrew recently graduated in May from Dakota State
University with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Network Security and a specialty
in Information Assurance. He believes his degree has offered him insight into
how computers work and how to keep them secure.
Andrew is an avid gamer and would love to be able to get his
own gaming pc or gaming laptop and maybe even build his own computer some day!
He also has a twin brother who is a bus driver for the Dakota Valley School
District.
