Annual Digital Dakota Network IT Training Program

DDN IT Training Program at DSU.
Throughout the week, the Digital Dakota Network (DDN) is hosting their annual IT training program on the campus of Dakota State University (DSU) in Madison, South Dakota.

This annual training of K12 technologists allows them to keep current and trained in the software, hardware and architecture standards that BIT supports throughout the DDN.

This is a long-standing, very successful partnership between us, Department of Education, K12 Data Center, DSU, our instructors and the K12 schools.

This week, 97 students and 87 school districts are attending the training. This is the largest class to date.

Training topics may vary from year to year. Below are the topics discussed at this year's training:
    • Security and Content Management
    • Windows 8
    • Desktop Management
    • Desktop Imaging
    • Goverlan
    • Windows 2012 Server
    • Network Management
